The blockchain quality assurance engineer tests systems where defects are expensive and often permanent, since a contract usually cannot be patched once it is deployed. The work covers contract behavior, node operation, application flows and the unusual states that only arise on chain, such as a transaction that succeeds while doing something nobody intended. Typical Duties and Responsibilities

• Design and execute test plans across contracts, services and applications

Education
