Typical Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead technology operations and delivery functions
- Own service reliability, availability and support performance
- Manage the technology operating budget
- Lead infrastructure and application delivery teams
- Establish and maintain IT service management practice
- Manage vendor relationships and service contracts
- Own technology risk management and continuity planning
- Deliver technology projects to schedule and budget
- Develop managers and technical leaders within the function
- Report performance and risk to executive leadership
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or a related field
Required Skills and Experience
- 12+ years in technology with significant leadership experience
- Experience owning service reliability at organizational scale
- Strong budget and vendor management
- Understanding of IT service management practice
- Track record of delivering technology projects
- Ability to develop managers
- Risk and continuity planning experience
- Clear executive communication
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with significant infrastructure or cloud migration
- Industry relevant regulatory experience
