The crypto trader takes positions in digital assets across centralised and decentralised venues. The market operates continuously, fragments liquidity across many venues and carries operational risks that traditional markets do not, including custody, bridge failures and exchange insolvency. - Trade digital assets across spot, perpetual and derivatives markets
- Manage positions, leverage and liquidation risk continuously
- Monitor liquidity and pricing across centralised and decentralised venues
- Execute across multiple exchanges and manage the resulting inventory
- Manage custody, transfers and bridge risk operationally
- Track funding rates, basis and cross venue arbitrage opportunities
- Monitor on chain activity, flows and protocol events affecting positions
- Maintain risk limits and stop discipline in a market that never closes
- Analyze performance and attribute profit and loss accurately
- Follow protocol governance and events that materially affect holdings
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, mathematics or a related field

- Ability to manage risk in a continuously trading market
- Proficiency with Python or a comparable tool for analysis
- Understanding of on chain data and how to read it
- Composure during extreme volatility
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with market making or systematic execution
- Prior experience in traditional markets
