The decentralised application developer builds products where the core logic lives on chain and the application is the way people reach it. The role covers contract integration, wallet flows and the product decisions about which parts genuinely need to be decentralised and which are better served off chain. Pragmatism matters, since fully on chain is rarely the right answer for everything.

Typical Duties and Responsibilities

• Build decentralised applications integrating with on chain protocols
• Implement wallet connectivity and transaction flows
• Decide which functionality belongs on chain and which off chain
• Integrate with existing protocols, tokens and standards
• Build and maintain the data layer feeding the application
• Test application behavior against forked network state
• Handle multi chain deployment and configuration
• Monitor application health and on chain interactions
• Work with contract engineers on interface requirements
• Iterate on the product based on user behavior and feedback

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience

Required Skills and Experience

• 2+ years building decentralised applications with real users
• Strong TypeScript and a modern front end framework
• Working knowledge of Solidity and contract interaction patterns
• Experience with web3 libraries and wallet integration
• Judgment about where decentralisation adds value and where it does not
• Understanding of transaction costs and their effect on product design
• Testing practice covering on chain integration
• Shipped applications that can be reviewed

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with layer 2 networks
• Product ownership experience
