The full stack web3 developer works across contracts, backend services and the interface, which is common at protocol teams small enough that the same person ships the whole feature. The role requires enough contract knowledge to be trusted with on chain code and enough conventional engineering to build the indexers, APIs and front ends around it.

Typical Duties and Responsibilities

• Build features end to end across contracts, services and interface
• Implement and test smart contract functionality
• Build backend services and indexers that expose chain data efficiently
• Develop front end interfaces for protocol interaction
• Manage deployment across testnets and production networks
• Build monitoring and alerting across the whole stack
• Handle RPC infrastructure, reliability and fallback behavior
• Participate in security review of contract changes
• Respond to incidents affecting any layer of the stack
• Document architecture and interfaces for the team

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience

Required Skills and Experience

• 3+ years of full stack development including production web3 work
• Competence in Solidity plus TypeScript across backend and front end
• Experience with indexing, subgraphs or custom chain data pipelines
• Understanding of smart contract security fundamentals
• Familiarity with node infrastructure and RPC providers
• Ability to own a feature from contract through to interface
• Good testing practice across all layers
• Verifiable shipped work in the ecosystem

• Experience on multiple chains
• Open source contributions to web3 tooling
