• 8+ years of relevant experience including senior blockchain roles
• Ability to build a credible commercial case for web3 investment
• Technical fluency sufficient to lead engineers
• Experience building partnerships across the ecosystem
• Judgment about regulatory and reputational exposure
• Strong public communication
• Track record of shipping rather than only strategy work
• Comfort operating with significant uncertainty
