We are seeking an accomplished mobile developer to join our team. This role requires in-depth knowledge of the Android app activity and lifecycle, as well as concepts like geolocation, real-time publishing, notifications, and mapping. A successful applicant should have expertise working on high-use, large-scale applications and can create a platform-native software from scratch through release.
Typical Duties and Responsibilities
- Create reusable user interface elements for a system of shared product design
- Assure that the component library satisfies the requirements of the company and users by working with product managers and UX designers
- Create brand-new software features for product development
- Create documentation that adheres to industry-standard agile software design methodologies
- Examine components on various browsers and hardware
- Maintain the component library as a product in collaboration with other teams
- Conduct research and advance knowledge to create new applications and offer advice to other practitioners
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
Required Skills and Experience
- 3+ years of experience with Java script, React JS, and Node JS
- 2+ years of experience using technologies for mobile development
- Working knowledge of spring boot and AWS for the creation of REST APIs
- Understanding of engineering principles and techniques, such as TDD, software automation, CI/CD (Drone), and Typescript
- Practical experience in developing contemporary web applications and mobile technologies, including responsive and reactive design
- Solid understanding of event-driven architecture, relational and non-relational databases, microservices, and micro front ends
- Thorough understanding of software engineering principles and ability to use that knowledge in challenging situations
- Capacity to handle numerous competing priorities and requests in a hectic setting
- Quick learning and application of new techniques, tools, and frameworks
- Proven track record of incorporating cutting-edge technologies into products that yielded substantial benefits
