The Client
Headquartered in Oklahoma, our client is a small cybersecurity consulting firm that specializes in
providing Palo Alto security solutions to clients across the country.
The Challenge
Our client was a small team but had recently achieved Palo Alto Diamond Level partnership and was looking to continue building their network security team providing Palo Alto solutions for their clients.
Due to the smaller size of their team, they did not have an internal recruiting team and were having to rely completely on applications to their job postings from sites like LinkedIn, Dice.com, and Zip Recruiter. They had also previously used an IT recruiting agency but had a poor experience with bad candidates that did not fit their needs at all.
The Result
Our client reached out to our team due to our deep expertise in cybersecurity recruiting and to leverage our dedicated team of cybersecurity recruiters. We met with the hiring manager to really understand his team’s needs and the types of Palo Alto projects that the Network Security Engineer would specialize in. We were able to develop a strategy to specifically identify candidates with strong Palo Alto skills, client facing consulting experience and understood how to work in a MSSP environment. We screened over 200 candidates and narrowed it down to just three candidates that we submitted to fill the position.
