We are looking for an experienced Cloud Practitioner to help our customers create successful implementations on the AWS platform. To be effective in this role, you should have experience working with IT systems and infrastructure, including servers, networks, and databases, as well as a deep understanding of serverless architectures and AWS cloud-related technologies. This role will primarily be responsible for implementing IAM policies, managing user accounts, monitoring performance, and similar duties related to the cloud environment.
Typical Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervise architecting and deployment of applications in AWS platforms
- Configure VPC, ACLs, DNS service, and EC2 instances
- Implement cloud storage using Amazon S3
- Implement identity and access management policies
- Manage user accounts with AIM
- Develop plans for the adoption of cloud solutions
- Identify end user problems and work processes to develop solutions to increase efficiency
- Manage and monitor cloud platforms
- Design and build applications on the cloud
- Identify and resolve integration issues with third-party programs
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in cloud computing, information technology, computer science, or a related field
Required Skills and Experience
- Experience working with cloud native technologies, infrastructure as code, and/or serverless cloud
- Experience developing and/or scaling applications written in Java, Python, or similar programming languages
- Experience deploying written code in AWS utilizing native or third-party solutions
- Experience engineering solutions that use AWS native databases
- Knowledge of C++, Python, Java, and JavaScript
- Knowledge of data security and compliance laws
- Knowledge of networking and network security
- Working knowledge of Ansible, Chef, Docker, Jenkins, and similar AWS tools
- Familiarity with Linux OS and Unix commands
Preferred Qualifications
- Cloud certifications such as AWS Cloud Practitioner or Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect
