We are looking for a Network Engineer to design, maintain, and support our growing network infrastructure. This role will be part of a systems engineering team responsible for the design and development of scalable, highly-available network architectures. Our ideal candidate will be organized, detail-focused, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Typical Duties and Responsibilities
- Install and configure various network devices and services, including servers, routers, firewalls, load balancers, UPSs, and other hardware
 - Select and implement security tools, procedures, and policies in collaboration with the security team
 - Maintain and upgrade systems as needed
 - Monitor system performance to ensure its reliability and availability
 - Define, document, and enforce system standards
 - Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all implemented networks
 - Collaborate with network architects to optimize the network
 - Maintain all levels of network security both internally and externally
 - Identify, diagnose, and resolve network issues
 - Provide troubleshooting support to resolve issues
 
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
 
Required Skills and Experience
- 5+ years of experience in network administration
 - Experience with monitoring, diagnostic, and network analytics tools
 - Experience with network design, implementation, and troubleshooting
 - Experience with networking performance tuning
 - Knowledge of networking protocols, such as IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, or QoS
 - Knowledge of the OSI or TCP/IP model
 - Strong organization and time management skills
 - Strong analysis and problem solving skills
 
Preferred Qualifications
- Cisco certification, such as CCNA, CCNP, and/or CCIE
