Digital Marketing Manager Job Description Template

We are looking to expand our marketing team with an experienced digital marketing manager. This position is in charge of carrying out and optimizing digital marketing initiatives, such as targeted email and social media campaigns, website updates, paid and organic search programs, and extensive content marketing activities. These initiatives are aimed at increasing brand awareness, generating demand, and assisting growth strategies. Typical Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily strategic and tactical execution of all digital marketing activities and strategies, including ABM, SEO, SEM, social media, and email marketing
  • Design systems for tracking marketing metrics and identify real-world opportunities for improvement through ongoing evaluation of the impact and ROI of these campaigns
  • Manage marketing tools, workflows, data, automation, integrations, and the marketing technology stack
  • Utilize and enhance our marketing automation solution to promote best practices, manage marketing initiatives and boost productivity and the demand generation pipeline
  • Conduct market research and make use of marketing KPIs to enhance brand recognition and marketing execution capabilities
  • Boost marketing efficiency and create new standard operating procedures (SOPs) to help reach revenue goals

Required Skills and Experience

  • 4+ years of expertise in demand generation and digital marketing
  • 2+ years of experience using marketing automation
  • 2+ years of Salesforce experience
  • Knowledge of marketing automation tools, triggering and nurturing campaigns, CRM, and database administration 
  • Demonstrated knowledge of website optimization, landing page conversions, and best practices
  • Understanding of numerous marketing automation technologies and the capacity to instruct others on their best and most efficient use
  • Knowledge of developing and reporting analytics
  • Experience creating and improving SOPs 
  • Superior project management and communication abilities
  • Strong interest in digital trends and web technologies

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in marketing or a related field
  • Google AdWords, Google Analytics, or other sector-relevant credentials
