The Marketing Automation Specialist is in charge of developing, implementing, and optimizing campaigns within our marketing automation platform, in order to fully leverage its capabilities to meet our business objectives. This role works closely with developers, designers and project managers to implement operational initiatives utilizing the marketing automation platform. This includes managing the email marketing program’s development and performance, maintaining the marketing platform’s integration with other software and helping to integrate new platforms, and working with leadership to define KPIs and create recommendations for continuous campaign improvement.
Typical Duties and Responsibilities
- Help with the demand generation campaigns’ marketing automation production demands, including emails, webinars, landing pages and nurture programs
- Identify ways to use data-driven, multi-touch communications to improve segmentation and personalisation strategies and boost performance with our target audience
- Develop and implement improvements to productivity, conversion rates, and revenue growth using A/B testing
- Support the marketing automation platforms integration with 3rd party applications while maintaining current integrations
- Create reporting and analyze campaign performance to improve the effectiveness of the sales and marketing teams
- Identify and track data processing, routing, and tracking difficulties
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or a related field
Required Skills and Experience
- Experience managing marketing automation
- Experience using a CRM
- Knowledge of database management concepts and best practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and organization skills
- Ability to self-motivate and work independently
