We are looking for a Marketo marketing automation specialist. This is an opportunity to put your knowledge and abilities to use on a varied project list. In this role, you’ll use Marketo to define our business requirements and construct complex solutions that are in accordance with them. A successful applicant will have an in-depth understanding of lead conversion, lead scoring, sales lifecycle, segmentation, and data management, as well as how to apply that knowledge to improve results in a real-world business context.
Typical Duties and Responsibilities
- Create marketing initiatives in Marketo
- Provide advice on and set up best practices, in collaboration with clients ranging from entry-level employees to C-level executives
- Participate in ongoing initiatives as the project manager or account manager
- Control the Marketo programs’ technical design, configuration, deployment, and modification
- Create new emails, forms, and landing sites with Marketo
- Create, modify, and test campaign components like forms, landing pages, and emails
- Give advice on A/B testing and other program and individual asset (email, form, landing page) testing strategies
- Analyze operational marketing and/or sales processes to find and suggest efficiencies
- Ensure that all project deliverables are timely and of high quality
- Control numerous projects to completion on time and within budget
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, IT, or a related field
Required Skills and Experience
- 3+ years of experience using marketing automation platforms
- 2+ years of hands-on Marketo experience
- Expert knowledge of Marketo
- Experience with reporting and project management
- Ability to present to and communicate with clients at all levels, from practitioners to C-level executives
- Ability to work well both individually and in a group
- Strong business acumen
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of advertising experience
- Experience with various marketing automation tools like Eloqua, Hubspot, Pardot, and Marketing Cloud
