In this Media Analyst position, your duties will include evaluating the success of numerous digital media campaigns, developing optimization insights that will guide digital media buyers’ decisions, and working with a variety of partners and stakeholders to keep accurate records of data requirements and digital tracking. A successful applicant should have knowledge of the techniques used in econometric modeling and how to apply models to measure marketing effectiveness and maximize spending.
Typical Duties and Responsibilities
- Examine the results of several digital media initiatives to find areas that need improvement
- Determine data needs, data collection techniques, and best practices with partners to ensure reliable data monitoring
- Determine the strategic direction of digital media
- Work with stakeholders to present information in a clear, digestible, and visually appealing style
- Create and enhance automated dashboards and reports to track and convey performance
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in business, statistics, economics, marketing, or a related field
Required Skills and Experience
- 3+ years of relevant experience in a media analytics position
- Knowledge of database languages such as SQL
- Working knowledge of data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, Looker)
- Advanced skills in Excel, SQL, R, Python
- Proficiency with Met, Twitter, Snapchat, Pinterest, TikTok or other social media platforms
- Proficiency with emerging and leading programmatic DSPs (TTD, DV360, Yahoo, etc.)
