PPC Manager Job Description Template

Typical Duties and Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute the organization’s paid strategy within Google Ads, LinkedIn, Meta, and other products
  • Launch and optimize various PPC campaigns simultaneously
  • Produce engaging and clear copy for campaigns
  • Ensure alignment between campaigns across channels to avoid crossover or wasted spend
  • Monitor and manage accounts on search platforms
  • Develop and execute the organization’s SEO campaign and strategy, including keyword selection, audience targeting, technical implementation, and reporting
  • Deliver exceptional paid and organic results across all campaigns
  • Track KPIs to assess campaign performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Suggest and develop new campaigns across platforms

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, digital media, or a related field
  • Google Ads certification

Required Skills and Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in a digital marketing role focused on SEM
  • Experience with multiple platforms, including but not limited to Facebook Ads, AdWords, and Google Ads
  • Experience using paid search dashboards to optimize spend
  • Experience in data analysis and reporting
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of SEO and digital marketing concepts
  • Knowledge of analytical tools such as Google Analytics, Tableau, and WebTrends
  • Strong analytical and math skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of HTML and XML
