As our Senior Content Strategist, your primary responsibility will be to compile a library of world-class content in close collaboration with sales and customer success teams. You’ll take responsibility for the entire content development process, including managing individual content writers and contributing your own original content, either independently or in conjunction with a subject matter expert. The ideal candidate will be a perpetually inquisitive thinker who delights in getting to the heart of a problem or idea and translating it into language.
Typical Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine customer needs and how our content can best meet them
- Draft, edit, and publish content, including in-product copy, sales and marketing materials, and recruitment materials
- Manage teams of writers and freelancers to ensure timely, quality content
- Identify writers and specialists and connect with them to leverage their skills and expertise for our content
- Measure the effectiveness of content after publication
- Maintain the standard, tone, and uniformity of all content
- Recommend features or UX enhancements to make content more effective and discoverable
- Gather suggestions and feedback from VIP customers and subject matter experts, and incorporate these suggestions into our format
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, advertising, journalism, or a related field
Required Skills and Experience
- 4+ years of experience in corporate learning & development, business journalism, academic publishing, or HR technology fields
- Demonstrated writing and editing skills
- Ability to write and edit effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in organizational design and program design
- Exceptional research and analysis skills
- Knowledge of educational materials and instructional design
- Strong organization, self-motivation, and project management skills
