We are looking for a User Experience Engineer who is passionate about designing and developing exceptional user experiences. Typical Duties and Responsibilities
- Analyze existing systems and collaborate with marketing, design, and developer teams to improve their functionality
- Translate UX requirements into effective designs that focus on usability and conversion optimization
- Design intuitive and elegant user experiences in line with current design trends
- Contribute to the ideation and concept development of visual design concepts
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups of new interface designs in accordance with UX best practices
- Conduct user and market research
- Develop behavioral prototypes, user flows, and final design assets
- Test and troubleshoot web pages, software programs, and plugins for functionality and ease of use
- Debug existing and new systems and products for optimal performance
- Stay current with the latest UX and UI trends, technologies, and best practices
- Manage and contribute to UX related product documentation
- Architect reusable components
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, psychology, or a related field
Required Skills and Experience
- 1+ years of development or design experience
- Experience working with mobile, web, desktop, and native apps
- Experience with large-scale projects
- Experience using methodologies such as Agile and Lean UX
- Experience using analytics data to inform design decisions
- Experience using UX and UI development tools such as GUI prototyping, storyboarding, and user research
- Thorough knowledge of user-centric and responsive design principles
- Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
- Knowledge of how front-end and UX design affects SEO
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a relevant field
