Our team is in need of a talented SharePoint developer to create customized SharePoint solutions. In this role, you will configure and customize SharePoint systems according to company specifications and build clean, scalable websites and web applications that meet all design and functionality requirements. To succeed in this role, you should have extensive knowledge of SharePoint and Microsoft Office software, proficiency with front-end programming languages, and the ability to solve complex software issues. Typical Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the design team to review website and application requirements
- Set tasks and development goals
- Configure SharePoint systems to specified requirements
- Develop new web components using XML, .NET, SQL, and C#
- Build new landing pages, department templates, newsletters, banners, and videos accessible to any device
- Implement, deploy, package, and maintain new intranet portal sites and SharePoint sites
- Design, code, and implement scalable applications
- Code pages using HTML5, JavaScript, and Typescript
- Extend SharePoint functionality with forms, web parts, and application technologies
- Test and debug code
- Review website interface and software stability
- Troubleshoot software issues
- Maintain and update SharePoint applications
- Provide system training to staff and customers
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
Required Skills and Experience
- 3+ years of experience in a SharePoint developer role
- Experience building sites in hybrid environments
- Experience in client interaction and involvement
- Experience with business applications and business data flow
- Experience creating and/or managing collaborative sites and programs
- Thorough knowledge of C#, ASP.NET, and .NET frameworks
- Knowledge of SDLC process, unit testing, and packing to deploy
- Knowledge of UI/UX design principles and best practices
- Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, XML, jQuery, SQL Server, and Web Services
- Strong project management skills
- Strong problem solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications
- MOSS or WSS certification
