Headquartered in Alabama, our client is a startup company that has developed a SaaS platform for the legal industry involving cloud-based document management solutions.
The Challenge
Our client was a small startup that had used a third-party consulting firm to build their initial SaaS platform. They reached the point where they wanted to hire a full-time Full Stack Developer that could come in and take over on all new development for the SaaS platform. This developer was going to be the first and only IT professional in the company so they needed someone that could work with NodeJS, React, AWS, MongoDB and more. Our client was struggling to get strong applicants and they also didn’t have the technical knowledge to properly screen candidates for their development skills.
The Result
Our team met with the client to understand their hiring needs, pain points and what that ideal candidate would look like from both a technical and culture fit. We quickly developed a strategy to find the right technical fits but also candidates that would be comfortable in a small startup environment where they’ll have to wear many hats. We were able to rapidly find several strong candidates and had our candidate start in the position just 4 weeks after we started working on the role.
