Headquartered in Palo Alto, this cybersecurity software company is shaking up the Data Loss Prevention (DLP) market with a unique solution for clients to secure all of their high-value data.
The Challenge
Our client’s engineering team was fairly lean and they were looking to make their first DevOps hire as they had been relying on software engineers and Site Reliability Engineers to tackle DevOps work. They specifically needed a hands-on DevOps Engineer that could also help build the DevOps practice as a principal engineer and implement DevOps tools, best practices and culture for the company. They posted the job online but received very few applicants and no qualified applicants so they reached out to our team of DevOps recruiters for assistance.
The Result
We met with the Co-Founder and Head of Engineering to understand the role, technical environment and personality that they needed in this role in order to successfully build a DevOps environment. Our DevOps recruiters scoured the market for this unique background and quickly presented a couple of very strong candidates. Our client ultimately hired one of our candidates and that candidate has now successfully built out their DevOps program.
