The Challenge
Our client had a small IT team and their IT Manager of 20+ years was planning to retire which was going to leave a big opening for their team. Additionally, they felt their tech environment had fallen behind under the outgoing IT Manager and they needed someone that could come in and advise them on the newer technologies that they should be implementing and utilizing. Finally, with the smaller IT team, they needed a manager that was still going to be hands on with technology and they kept receiving applications from candidates that only wanted to focus on management.
The Result
Our IT recruiting team formalized a sourcing strategy to identify those niche IT Managers that led small IT organizations while remaining hands-on with the technology on a daily basis. We identified several candidates that matched our client’s needs and we were able successfully place a candidate that has since turned around their tech environment to catch them up to the digital age.
